The first floor apartments of Thamme Villa are characterised by particularly high ceilings of 3 metres and large windows (1.2 x 1.8 m). This apartment has a separate courtyard entrance. Entering through your personal front door, you step into a small vestibule of sorts, which provides a great place to store shoes and outerwear. The living room window opens to the afternoon and setting sun.

The window on the side of the building actually overlooks the private backyard of the property. The bedroom also faces the courtyard. You have the option to display the original log wall of the building in both the living room and the bedroom. The standard solution is to cover the walls with reed mats and natural lime plaster, the colour of which you can also choose.

Both the vestibule and the second entrance to the apartment are also finished with wood panelling – the lower part of the wall is covered with vertical panels. This provides excellent protection for the walls of the entrance hall and also shows the original finish used in the building. Cornices decorate the ceiling of the living room and the bedroom.
